About me

Hi, I’m Seda.

Born in Kocaeli, a graduate of KAL and Industrial Engineering at Eskişehir Osmangazi University, someone who has been playing the role of a game changer since 2010 with extensive SAP QM and project management experience across projects in Istanbul and Germany, and who somehow managed to squeeze an almost 8-month Toronto adventure into her 29.5 years (!) of life.

I started iamflyingblog in 2018, when we moved to Toronto, as a place to share my experiences of my new life abroad.

Over time, it changed and evolved, just like I did.

Alongside new countries, cities and places I discovered, it became my personal space where I started sharing events happening around me, things that catch my attention in the world of technology, and experiences from my own life.

From my coffee addiction to my very fresh obsession with vinyl records, from the SUP (stand-up paddleboarding) virus I caught like everyone else to being a guitarist who somehow remains stuck at beginner level despite dreaming of learning electric guitar, and to the rock and metal passion that legends like Şebnem Ferah, Pentagram and Queen have given me, I’ll keep sharing it all here as your millennial, your iamflyingblog, desperately trying not to fall behind on any new piece of technology and turn into a boomer.
